DALLAS -- A former priest who's facing solicitation of murder charges had a scheduled court appearance pushed back due to inclement weather Thursday.

John Fiala was supposed to be making an appearance in a Dallas County courtroom Thursday, but the hearing was postponed because no judges made it in. Fiala is accused of holding a teenage boy at gunpoint and forcing the boy to have sex with him. That incident allegedly happened twice between 2007 and 2008 in Rocksprings. In addition, Fiala is accused of offering an informant $5,000 to kill the victim.

Fiala has also been indicted on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child in Howard County. His next court date has not been set, and it's still unknown when Fiala will stand trial in Howard County. Big 2 News will report to you as soon as more details of this case come in.
