Water Line Break Clamped In McCamey

McCAMEY -- McCamey residents had quite a scare Friday morning, as a water line break threatened to cut off the city's water supply.
Crews in McCamey had initially said that they might have to shut off the water supply completely, if they couldn't clamp the broken line. Luckily, they were able to clamp the line, so residents continued to have running water.
As a general reminder, you'll want to be very careful when driving or walking on wet roadways or sidewalks, since the water will freeze overnight as temperatures drop.
