Big Spring To Support Water Conservation Measures

BIG SPRING -- Big Spring City Council members signed a resolution supporting water conservation efforts Monday night.
Mayor Tommy Duncan called a meeting with the Colorado River Municipal Water District and the four cities involved. The district is worried about a water shortage due to low lake levels. The district hopes that by signing this resolution, they'll be able to help by educating the community on water conservation.
Council members also approved a motion to refinance a 1994 obligation bond to help finance the wastewater treatment plant there.
