MIDLAND-- The Midland County Republican Women's Association welcomed Texas Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples to the Basin on Wednesday afternoon.

The commissioner came to speak to the ladies about a variety of issues our state is facing. Staples is the 11th Texas Commissioner of Agriculture and was recently re-elected to continue serving another term in office.

Most recently, Staples has been a recognized leader in the charge towards eminent domain reform. Staples is urging all Texans to visit www.protectyourhomeandland.com to sign the petition and join thousands of Texans who want eminent domain reform in the Lone Star State.
