MISD Family Fair is Coming Soon

The Midland ISD Family Fair 2011 is coming soon! Necole Mcpherson explains on Good Morning West Texas.

The fair will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, February 19, at the Greater Ideal Church Family Life Center.

The fair showcases programs within MISD, as well as community agencies and organizations which support the students and families of Midland. The fair is a wonderful way for families to acquaint themselves with the services and opportunities available to them, including tutoring, counseling and health care.

Local organizations and MISD departments which will be represented in booths at the fair
include the Advanced Technology Center, American Diabetes Association, AmeriCorps, Baptist Crisis Center, Camp Fire USA, Casa de Amigos, Communities In Schools Community & Senior Services Foster Grandparents Program, First Baptist Church Benevolence Ministries, His Kids, In Balance Learning Center, MISD Collegiate Coaches and Dropout Prevention, MISD Health Services, MISD Language Arts, Midland Downtown Lions Club, Midland Health Department, Midland/Odessa Area AIDS Support, Inc., Partners Resource Network, Rays of Hope Children’s Grief Centre and Sylvan Learning Center.

In addition, MISD student groups will perform. There is no admission fee for the event.
