Sales Tax Increase On May Ballot In Andrews

ANDREWS -- Andrews residents will be voting on whether or not they want more truck traffic traveling through town in the next election.
The Andrews City Council has confirmed that the truck reliever route will be an issue on the May ballot. Council members have suggested raising the sales tax to 8.25 percent to help raise money for the project.
If approved by voters, construction will begin in January 2012.
