ODESSA -- Police and fire crews responded to the 1600 block of N. Lee to a child in cardiac arrest.

Zachary Dominguez was transported to Medical Center Hospital and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.

The parents, 27-year-old Kimberly Moore and 25-year-old Ralph Martinez, were charged with the first degree felony after an investigation determined that their son had multiple injuries that occurred over a period of time.

They are being held at the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.

An autopsy of the child to determine the exact cause of death is pending.
