ODESSA -- E.C.I.S.D has decided to push back a decision on their administrative contracts for the next school year.

All Texas school districts are keeping an eye on Austin, and what fiscal changes could come from there. Typically, administrator contracts are worked out in February, and teachers are worked out in March. But E.C.I.S.D. Superintendent Hector Mendez says the district can't make those rulings until they know what money they'll get from the state.

Under state law, E.C.I.S.D. will have to make a decision in April -- unless a new bill allowing more time is passed in the Texas Senate is passed.
