HOBBS -- Three people have been arrested, after they were implicated in the January murder of a Lea County inmate.

Martin Knief, Lorenzo Mora and Christopher Morrisette are all charged with first degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder and tampering with evidence. They're being held on $1 million bond.

Police say the three suspects beat Paul Lasner to death on January 4th. Lasner was an inmate at the Lea County Correctional Facility who had been convicted of a 1998 drive-by shooting that killed a 17 year old.
