FM 1788 Closed East of Andrews Due to Grassfire

ANDREWS COUNTY -- FM 1788 has been shutdown near Highway 115 due to a wildfire in that area. Crews are working on getting the flames under control.
This is one of several grass fires crews are working on as the extremely windy conditions and dry grass create the perfect conditions for grass fires. The Texas Forest Service has moved equipment to Midland to better handle these fires.
