Sex Offender on the Loose

WARD COUNTY -- A sex offender is on the run after dodging officials at a rest area in Ward county Saturday afternoon.
Ward County Sheriff Mikel Strickland tells Big 2 that King Samuel Williams, was being transferred from an Arizona prison to a Pennsylvania prison, when he escaped an extradition officer at an I-20 rest stop near Wickett and Pyote.
Strickland says they began searching the area and knocking on doors, but Williams is still nowhere to be found.
He was last seen fleeing north from the area.
He was wearing a black shirt and shorts, with pink handcuffs and white shackles around his legs.
Strickland says he is extremely dangerous. He was arrested for sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl.
