Midland Man Shot Outside a Club

MIDLAND -- A Midland man was shot in the head Saturday morning outside of a club.
MPD responded to a gun shot call at Zac's Club in Midland at around 4am.
Officers say when they arrived there was a large crowd in the parking lot.
As they approached the scene they noticed 30-year-old Derome Williams lying in the middle of parking lot with a gun shot wound to the head.
Witnesses on scene say Williams was fighting with another man when they heard a single gun shot.
Williams was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital, where he underwent his surgery for his injury.
The other man involved has not been identified and police are still investigating.
