Wildfire Prevention Tips

AUSTIN -- As the Lone Star State faces extreme wildfire danger, the Division of Emergency Management is sharing some ways that everyone can help.

    The division say that everyone needs to be careful pulling off the road or driving into a field. The heat of car converters can gnite a fire. The division also urges smokers to never toss a cigarette out the window. Avoid burning trash, and always keep a fire extinguisher handy if working outdoors with equipment that heats up.
