Man Arrested For Choke-Slam Assault

MIDLAND -- A Midland man is behind bars, accused of choke-slamming a woman at a party.
Mark Anthony Casias was arrested last week. Casias, 27, is accused of going into a bathroom at an October house party, choking a woman there and throwing her into a bathtub. According to an arrest affidavit, the victim was bleeding from her head after the assault, and she told investigators that she blacked out after getting thrown into the bathtub.
Casias is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
