MIDLAND -- TXDOT crews continue to work on the outside lanes of F.M. 1788.

Crews are removing the outer lanes of the road between Business 20 and TX 191 and repaving them with a hot mix of asphalt. That work should be finished later this week.

Later this year, all four lanes will be seal coated. That process will take two weeks.

Drivers should avoid F.M. 1788 between TX 191 and Business 20 if possible, because of delays.
