MIDLAND -- Two men are behind bars in Midland, accused of driving with crack cocaine in a school zone.

Jerry Don Barrow, 52, and Willie Lenard, 62, were arrested on Tuesday. According to an arrest affidavit, the two men were pulled over in the 300 block of east Dormard for a traffic violation. Milam Elementary is located on that block, making it a drug free zone.

Midland Police searched the vehicle and found two metal crack pipes along with a white substance that tested positive for crack cocaine. Barrow and Lenard are now charged with possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.

During the investigation, police also found out that Lenard had given officers a fake name, and had 3 outstanding warrants. Lenard is now facing additional charges.
