Iraan Woman Killed In Rollover Crash

CROCKETT COUNTY -- A rollover accident has claimed the life of an Iraan woman.

    The fatal crash happened around 7:45 PM Saturday on U.S. 190, six miles east of Iraan. According to the Department of Public Safety, Michael Alexander and a passenger were heading westbound on U.S. 190 when Alexander dozed off. The vehicle hit a guard rail and flipped over.

    The passenger in the vehicle - Stormee Nix Alexander - was not wearing a seat belt. Stormee was thrown from the vehicle. She was later pronounced dead.

    The driver was treated at the Iraan General Hospital. He has since been released.
