ODESSA -- An Odessa teen has been arrested, after he was accused of throwing drugs out of a car window.

Damien Stephen Ortiz was arrested on Tuesday night, after police saw a Honda Accord driving with expired tags in the 1100 block of East 38th Street. The officer on patrol claimed that the driver dropped a plastic bag out of the car. That officer then pulled over the Accord and picked up the plastic bag, which had cocaine inside of it.

Ortiz, 18, was driving the Accord -- and he was arrested. He's charged with possession of cocaine and tampering with evidence.
