MIDLAND -- A Midland man is behind bars, after police say he drove around the Tall City drunk in a stolen vehicle.

Isaac Sabedra, 34, was arrested on Friday evening, after Midland Police found him driving a stolen Ford F-350 near Lamesa and Parker. Sabedra told officers that he didn't know the vehicle was stolen, but police found several bottles of beer in the vehicle, including one that was about half full.

According to an arrest affidavit, Sabedra admitted that he was drunk and that he also used cocaine earlier in the day. He refused a breath test and police arrested him.

Now Sabedra's facing a felony charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle, as well as a D.W.I. charge. He's being held on more than $20,000 bond.
