The first incident happened around 10:45 AM Friday at E.Z. Loan on North Grandview. Employees there say that two Hispanic males approached the business. One man held the door, while the other pulled out a handgun and demanded money. After they got the cash, the suspects fled in a maroon and tan Cadillac.
Then, just before 11 AM Friday morning, the suspects robbed the 7-Eleven on Kermit Highway. Minutes later, the suspects robbed another 7-Eleven on West University.
Odessa Police quickly found a vehicle matching the description given by the E.Z. Loan employees at 16th and North County Road West. Witnesses identified the two men inside the vehicle -- Erasmo Zapata, Jr., 20, and Marcus Guerrero, 19 -- as the robbers, and both were arrested. Both suspects are from Andrews.
Zapata and Guerrero have each been charged with three counts of felony aggravated robbery. They're being held at the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
