Midland Woman Arrested For Keeping Drugs In Home With Children

MIDLAND -- A Midland woman is behind bars, accused of keeping marijuana in a home with small children.

    Hope Louise Hernandez, 24, was arrested on Tuesday. According to an arrest affidavit, police went to her home on a disturbance call. Hernandez answered the door and said no one else was home, but officers saw another man in the back of the home and searched the area.
   
    Officers reportedly found marijuana throughout the home, along with packaging items, a scale and more. Some of that marijuana and a glass pipe were near a 2-month-old baby.And there was also a 5-year-old living in the home.

    Hernandez is charged with endangering a child. She's being held on $50,000 bond.
