Motorcycle Crashes Into SUV

MIDLAND -- A motorcycle accident sends 3 people to the hospital.

Javier and Lisa Melendez were riding a red harley Davidson south on Midkiff when a blue Ford Expedition failed to yeild the right of way and was struck by the motorcycle.

The passenger of the Expedition, Shelly Chabarria was transported to the hospital for minor injuries.

Javier and Lisa Melendez are being treated for major injuries, though none appear to be life threatening.

The driver of the Expedition, Austin Salmon, was cited for no driver's license and failure to yield right of way.
