Warrant Out For Former Jordan Elementary Principal

ODESSA -- An arrest warrant is out for the former principal of Barbara Jordan Elementary -- but she still hasn't turned herself into to authorities.
Jan Brown is facing a misdemeanor charge in Ector County for falsifying a report to a peace officer. The charge comes after the Texas Rangers investigated a discrepancy in Jordan Elementary's activity fund.
Brown is accused of falsifying reports during the investigation. Brown resigned in February, less than a month after E.C.I.S.D. put her on administrative leave.
Meanwhile, E.C.I.S.D. has appointed Adelina Carrasco as the interim principal at the school. Carrasco will serve as the Barbara Jordan Elementary for the rest of the school year.
