Two Teens Arrested For Driving With Explosive Materials In Vehicle

ODESSA -- Two teens are facing charges, after Odessa Police say they threw explosive material out of their car.

    John Orona, 18, and a 16-year-old juvenile were arrested Thursday, after police say they got a call about a strange vehicle on East 42nd Street. Police say the truck stopped, and they saw there was detergent, foil and plastic bottles in the vehicle. All those materials that could potentially be used to make explosives. Police also say one item was thrown from the window.

    Orona is charged with having components of explosives. The juvenile was taken to the Ector County Youth Center. His status is unknown.
