ODESSA -- A mother accused of beating her 5-year-old child to death was back in court this week.

A custody hearing involving Kimberly Ann Moore, 27, was held Tuesday to see where her three surviving children will live from now on. The two men who fathered Moore's children spoke from a prison phone about where they thought their kids should be placed.

"We are looking closely at some relatives in Snyder or that are," Assistant County Attorney Merry Worley told Big 2. "There seems to be a lot of relatives in that area for all three of the children."

Worley says they hope to get the kids turned over to those families in 30 to 60 days. They're currently staying with foster families.
