ODESSA --  An Odessa woman is dead, after she was run over during a major crash in South Odessa Friday morning.

The incident happened at Odessa Street and South Grant around 11 AM Friday. According to Odessa Police, a Ford F-150 was heading west on Odessa Street when it ran a stop sign at Grant and smashed into a Dodge pickup. Both vehicles ended up in a nearby Stripes parking lot, where they smashed into another pickup.

The driver of the F-150 -- 25-year-old Julia Janet Ramos -- was thrown from her vehicle. The Dodge pickup ran over her. Ramos was taken to Medical Center Hospital with serious injuries and she passed away hours later.

Ramos' 6-month-old son was in a car seat in her vehicle, and he wasn't hurt in the crash. The other drivers only suffered minor injuries.
