Former ECISD Principal Arrested For False Report

ODESSA -- The former principal of Barbara Jordan Elementary is behind bars.
Jan Brown was arrested Friday morning. Brown is charged with a misdemeanor for a false report to a peace officer.
The charge stems from a Texas Rangers investigation into Jordan Elementary. E.C.I.S.D. called in the rangers to look into a discrepancy in the school's activity fund in December.
Brown was placed on administrative leave in January. She resigned from her post in mid-February.
Brown was let out of jail on $1,000 personal recognizance bond Friday.
