PRESIDIO COUNTY -- Border Patrol agents from Presidio rescued three lost campers over the weekend.

Agents got a call from a woman in the group around 8:30 PM Friday. The woman said the campers were lost north of Presidio. She added that she couldn't see any roads or landmarks.

Agents told the campers to stay right where they were. Half an hour later, agents located the group's campsite about 10 miles north of Presidio. They asked for the campers to start a fire. After agents spotted the fire, it took them an hour and half get to the location on ATV's.

Eventually, the campers were rescued. They were all given water, and one had to get an I.V.

This was the seventh rescue in the Marfa Sector this year.
