Southwest Grounds Over 80 737s

PHOENIX, AZ  --  Southwest Airlines has grounded over 80 of its Boeing 737 jets after one was forced to make an emergency landing yesterday.

A huge hole in the fuselage of a plane on its way from Phoenix to Sacramento brought about a sudden drop in cabin pressure.

The Boeing 737 with 118 passengers on board and five crew members managed to land safely at the Yuma Marine Corps Air Station.

A flight attendant and at least one passenger were treated for minor injuries.

A passenger on the flight said she heard a loud sound and that oxygen masks suddenly came down.

She also said the plane's insulation and wiring were visible in the large ceiling hole.

Southwest says it is working with the National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA to determine what caused the hole in the plane's mid-cabin section.
