Three fires broke out east of Plains around 3:30 PM Monday. The Texas Forest Service sent single engine air tankers, a bulldozer and engines to help put those fires out.
The blazes threatened three homes, but none of them were lost. In all, the fires burned 802 acres.
Crews were also able to keep that fires from spreading into Plains.
