House Catches Fire In Midland

MIDLAND -- A Midland family got a real scare Monday evening, as their house caught on fire.

    Midland Fire units were called out to a house in the 4700 block of Leisure just before 6 PM Monday. Big 2 has learned that the fire started in the kitchen -- most likely from the oven.

    Fire fighters were able to get the flames out quickly and all the damage was sustained to the inside of the house.

    No one was hurt.
