Homeless Man Arrested For Solicitation Of Minor

MIDLAND -- Last week, a homeless man was arrested in Midland for allegedly sneaking into a teenage girl's bedroom and touching her inappropriately. Now, another homeless man is behind bars for allegedly trying to have sex with the same girl.
Brandon Hurley, 20, was arrested on Friday. According to an arrest affidavit, officers found text messages on initial suspect Mark Brock's phone when they arrested him last week for the incident in the girl's bedroom. Those messages reportedly talked about sex between Hurley and the victim in the incident.
The victim allegedly met Hurley on Facebook. The two reportedly met face-to-face at the Midland Park Mall, but the affidavit states that the girl cut off communication when Hurley started asking for sex.
Hurley was arrested for possession of marijuana on Thursday. He allegedly told police he tried to have sex with the victim, thinking she was a legal adult.
Now, Hurley is charged with criminal solicitation of a minor and possession of marijuana. He's being held on $35,000 bond.
