Ex-Odessa Police Sergeant Found Not Guilty

ODESSA -- A former Odessa Police sergeant who was accused of attacking his ex-girlfriend has been found not guilty.

    A jury found Johnny Joe Valderaz not guilty Thursday afternoon. Valderaz resigned from the force in February 2010, after the Texas Rangers investigated the incident.

    The alleged victim and a Texas Ranger took the stand this week. The jury found Valderaz not guilty just after 4 PM Thursday
