MIDLAND COUNTY -- Midland County residents who lost power during recent wildfires should get their electricity back by Monday night.

ONCOR went out to the area late Saturday night to assess the damage. They found 125 damaged poles, 8 damaged crossarms and several downed wires on Sunday. ONCOR has been working to replace damaged poles and restore power.

Sue Mercer of ONCOR tells Big 2 that all power should be restored to affected residents by Monday night. Some oil field and work sites might not get their power back until Tuesday.

People should treat all downed wires as live wires and drivers should steer clear of crews working on the lines.
