Man Arrested For Robbing Doughnut Shop

ODESSA -- A man is behind bars in Odessa, after police accused him of robbing a doughnut shop.

    Omar Ja'Maal Robinson was arrested on Monday. Odessa Police say Robinson, 21, walked into the a T & T Donuts in the 3100 block of Andrews Highway around 8:30 AM Monday morning. Robinson allegedly flashed a handgun and demanded money from the register. Employees handed over the cash and Robinson took off in a  vehicle with a cracked windshield.

    Police found Robinson around 2:30 that afternoon near 38th and Eisenhower. Police arrested Robinson on outstanding warrants out of Abilene. Then on Tuesday, they charged him with aggravated robbery for the incident,

   Odessa Police are still looking for the driver of the getaway vehicle Robinson left in. That suspect is only described as a white male.
