MIDLAND -- A Midland man has been found guilty of fraud for a bogus house flipping scheme.

A federal jury found Marcus Rosenberger guilty of conspiracy, mail fraud and wire fraud Thursday afternoon.

Rosenberger and Jason Morrison offered to pay liens on several foreclosed homes in exchange for the properties. But the two never paid the liens, and they tried to sell the properties.

Morrison pleaded guilty to the same charges in January. He'll be sentenced in late May, while Rosenberger's sentencing will be in late June.

Both face 20 years in federal prison for each count.
