ANDREWS -- Andrews is pitching in to help victims of the recent West Texas wildfires.

There was a fundraising drive at the Beall's in Andrews on Thursday afternoon. Recently, there had been a lot of interest in helping fire victims in Andrews, and that interest led to the drive.

"We want to be able to support West Texas and our neighboring counties that are around us," Red Cross board member Liz Posey told Big 2. "And by doing this, we want people to know that we're right here too, and we want to help them out."

There were a lot of children on hand from local elementary schools, helping to flag down cars for donations.
