MIDLAND -- On Thursday, a grass fire burned 50 acres south of Midland. Now, a man is behind bars for not only setting the fire, but also hurting a firefighter.

James William Roberson, 37, has been arrested for arson causing bodily injury or death, which is a first degree felony. The Midland County Sheriff's Office says volunteer firefighter Harland Dizmang was hurt in a traffic accident while trying to get to that fire.

It is still unknown why Roberson might have started that blaze. He's being held on $50,000 bond.
