Midland Grassfire Causes Power Outages

Midland--A fire sparked up along highway 349 in Midland causing power outages. It was ten miles south of Midland on the east side of the roadway. Midland fire officials say a couple of acres were burning. Some telephone poles were caught in the flames that downed electricity. But, power has been restored. It only took the firemen a couple of hours to put out the blaze.
