Man Accused Of Pointing Gun At Kids Arrested In Hobbs

HOBBS -- A Hobbs man who allegedly pointed a weapon at his kids has turned himself in to police.

    Randolph Breckon was arrested Tuesday morning. Breckon, 44, being held at the Lea County Detention Center on $20,000 bond.

    Hobbs Police say that an 8-year-old and 12-year-old went to school officials on Friday and said that a parent had pointed a firearm at them. Police arrested 52-year-old Susan Breckon that day. They charged her with two counts of child abuse, as well as resisting arrest. Susan Breckon is being held on $21,000 dollars bond.

    Randolph Breckon is also charged with two counts of child abuse. The children are in protective custody.
