Wildfire Spreads Through Davis Mountains

The Rock House Fire has now burned more than 215,000 acres. Crews have moved out of the Davis Mountains because the land there was too steep for bulldozers and air attacks. Crews now hope to stop the blaze from spreading too far out of the mountains by building fire lines and trying burnouts to force the flames backwards.
The fire is still 75 percent contained as of Monday night. Strong winds are expected Tuesday, which could help the fire spread more.
