Wildfire Burns In Eddy County Mountains

EDDY COUNTY -- Crews continue to battle a wildfire in southwestern Eddy County.

    The Last Chance Fire broke out Sunday west of Queen. The fire has already forced two evacuations, and it's threatening three more structures.

    Three fire crews have sent 11 engines and two water tenders to battle the flames, which are burning in the steep and rugged mountains there.

    So far, the blaze has burned 15,000 acres, and it's not contained at all. The cause is still being investigated.
