Midland High Honored For Academics

MIDLAND -- Midland High School is celebrating some academic achievements.
The school earned a place in the top two percent of Texas 5A high schools, trying for 5th place in the U.I.L. Lonestar Cup. They're ranked using points from several earlier titles.
The school has excelled in several categories, including academics, band, one-act play, baseball, volleyball, and numerous other athletics.
The final state standings will be tallied in July.
