Midland Freebirds To Open May 17th

MIDLAND -- There are plenty of Mexican restaurants in Midland. But there aren't many Build-Your-Own-Burrito chains -- until now, that is.
Freebirds World Burrito is coming to the Tall City. The burrito chain will open its doors on May 17th.
Crews are putting the finishing touches on the restaurant, which will be along Loop 250 at Tremont.
Freebirds has locations all over Texas, as well as some in Oklahoma and California. Currently the closest restaurant to the Basin is in Lubbock.
Customers at the restaurant can build their own burrito, however they want it.
