Mariachi Vargas, which has been in existence for 113 years, has set the standard for the mariachi genre, and is known as “el mejor mariachi del mundo” (the greatest mariachi in the world). The concert will be Friday, May 20, at 8 p.m. in the Ector County Coliseum

Mariachi Armonia, founded by Jerimie Hernandez will be one of the opening acts.
