ODESSA -- One man is under arrest after an overnight shooting that killed one man and sent another to the hospital.

Odessa police were called to the Clayton Manor Apartments at 10th and Custer just after 8:30 Wednesday night.

Officers say there they found one man shot dead, and another person wounded.

An autopsy is pending on the first victim. Police say the second victim underwent emergency surgery at a local hospital overnight. No word on his condition though.

Police say the man they believe pulled the trigger in custody, but they aren't releasing his name, the victims names, or any possible motive.

Officer will only say they believe it started with an argument.

The investigation is on going.
