The previous record for today is 104 set back in 1994, my forecast today puts us at 96 by noon and 105 for a high! With all the heat, expect an isolated storm or two to pop up around the evening commute  but most of the Permian Basin will stay dry, hot and sunny all day. Tomorrow brings a better chance for storms in the afternoon and evening but temps will remain hot and well into the triple digits. The triple digit heat will last into the weekend as morning hang in the middle to lower 70's. Warm mornings and hot afternoon run a toll on your health. There is little time for relief at night so it is crutial to find some shade or a/c to cool off.
