Looking for another day in the triple digits with another round of spotty t-storms also! Temps will hit 103 this afternoon and instead of one area of storms along the dryline, a cold front sinking south will help spark another area. The dryline will spark storms mainly along and south of I-10 while the cold front will help spark storm north of I-20. Most of the Permian Basin will not see any storms but keep your eyes on the skies. If these storms hit your town, expect small hail, gusty winds and frequent lightning. The chance for storms will stick around the next several days as the dryline jockeys for position but the cold front will lift north keeping triple digits in the Basin into late next week! Keep checking Permianbasin360.com, twitter.com/big2weather and facebook.com/kmidbig2 for updates on the storms. The best way to stay safe in this heat and with storms is to know the forecast!
