You can make sure you're getting enough Vitamin D by taking oral supplements.
Daily intake guidelines are as follows -
0-1
years: 400 IU Vitamin D daily
1-70
years: 600 IU Vitamin D daily

70 years: 800 IU Vitamin D daily
