Yesterday's high was 108 degrees, that marks day number 8 in a row! Today will be number 9, my forecast for high temps is 106. The cold front that stalled out over the Permian Basin last night will lift north as a warm front sparking an isolated storm possibly but most of us will stay dry. Tomorrow the warm front will be well north of the Basin leaving our only rain chances localized near the dryline. This will keep the chance for rain here in the Basin BUT very isolated chances. Despite the slight chances for rain, heat will remain the prime topic with the weather. High temps will top out in the triple digits for the rest of the work-week, through the weekend and into early next week. Likely topping the list for longest streak of days over 100 degrees!
